ἡδονή, Dor. ἁδονά (or in Trag. chorus ἡδονά S.OT1339), ἡ, (ἥδομαι) enjoyment, pleasure, first in Simon.71, S.l.c., Hdt.1.24, al.; prop. of sensual pleasures, αἱ τοῦ σώματος or περὶ τὸ σῶμα ἡ., X.HG 4.8.22,6.1.4; αἱ κατὰ τὸ σῶμα ἡ.
