4. unsecured, of debts, οἱ τὰ μ. ἐγγυώμενοι SIG364.42,46 (Ephesus, iii B. C.).

5. of persons, thoughtless, absent-minded, 'distrait', Cic.Att.15.14.4, 16.5.3 (Comp.), Gal.15.910; fickle, κοῦφοί τε καὶ μ. Ti.Locr.104e. Adv. -ρως Vett. Val.166.4.
