Arboreal on Windows

To install Arboreal on Microsoft Windows:

1. You will need a recent version (1.4.1 or newer) of the Sun Java runtime for Windows. If you don't already have it, download it at java.sun.com.

2. Download the latest Windows package of Arboreal (arboreal-win.zip) from the Harvard Archimedes site.

3. Extract the contents of the .zip file. You will need a program such as WinZip.

4. You should now have a directory (folder) called arboreal.

5. To start Arboreal, open the arboreal directory, and double-click on the arboreal program (arboreal.exe).

6. See the instructions for configuring Arboreal.

7. Sorry, there is not yet a nice icon for Arboreal on Windows!
